The Brighter Shores development team has released their seventh weekly progress update, detailing current work across multiple game areas and upcoming content additions.
The team has implemented several player-requested features, including progress on player-to-player trading systems and integration of the Weekly Leek updates directly into the game's main menu. Players will soon be able to access these development updates without leaving the game client.
Multiple team members are collaborating on new Hopeforest quests across different difficulty tiers. The 3-star quest is in final development stages with graphics and post-graphics coding nearing completion, while the 6-star quest remains in early technical development phases.
Development continues on high-level Crenopolis content, with both 4-star and 6-star quests currently in various stages of story planning and coding. These quests represent some of the most challenging content planned for the region.
New questlines are being developed for the Mine of Mantuban area, including both 4-star and 7-star difficulty quests. The 7-star quest is still in early story planning phases.
Additional side quest content is being developed for the Stonemaw Hill region, with story coding currently underway.
The development team continues working on core system enhancements, including improvements to dynamic blocking and pathfinding systems. Bug fixes and quality of life improvements have been implemented in this week's game update.
Staff recruitment efforts are ongoing as the team expands to support increased content development.
New audio content includes a global music track and specialized sound effects for the Weekly Leek interface integration. Graphics work focuses primarily on supporting the Hopeforest 3-star quest, with mesh and animation work in progress.
The team continues processing player support requests and feedback to guide future development priorities.
